West Chester, Pa. -
The men's swimming team opened the weekend with little trouble, getting two wins apiece from Rhoads Worster and Kyle Yu to help rack up 10 wins in swimming events on the night in a 175-125 victory over the West Chester Golden Rams.

Besides their individual wins, Worster and Yu were part of the winning relay team in the night's first event, the 200 Medley Relay. The two swam the middle legs of Penn's 'A' team victory, and joined Eric Schultz and Brett Gomes in recording a time of 1:33.89 for the win.

Stephen Carroll took home the night's opening individual race, finishing over eight seconds clear of second place in the 1000 Freestyle (9:32.46). Schultz then touched the wall just five-hundredths of a second clear of second to bag the 200 Freestyle (1:43.51).

Yu continued to own the breaststroke events for Penn, taking the 100 Breast in his first individual event of the night (57.48). Worster followed him with a dominating time of 1:52.64 to claim the 200 Butterfly. Dillon McHugh edged two teammates to the finish in the 100 Freestyle to win in 47.08 and Bradley Wachenfeld took home the 200 Backstroke (1:56.12).

Yu and Worster each had one race left and they each made it count. Yu finished an amazing 12 seconds clear of second place in winning the 200 Breast (2:03.38) and Worster touched the wall in 50.63 for an easy win in the 100 Butterfly. The final relay of the night ended with yet another victory for the Penn 'A' team, this time John Germanis, Gomes, McHugh and Schultz teaming up to close the 200 Freestyle Relay in 1:24.89.

Penn will quickly be back at it, facing La Salle tomorrow at Kirk Pool beginning at 12 p.m.
