FLUSHING MEADOWS, N.Y . - Two tournament titles were up for grabs on Sunday for the Penn men's tennis team and the doublesteam of Eugen Brazdil and Rob Wong were able to take home some hardware in Flight C.

The morning started off on a down note, as Zach Katz and Ivan Turudic fell to Sam Fife and Will Spector of Brown in the FlightA Doubles finalby a score of 8-5. Brazdil and Wong had the last crack at a title forthe Quakers and theyflew past Tom Deighton and Mike Riechmann of Brown, 8-2,for the first Penn doubles championship of the season.

Due to a shortened schedule, the consolation finals in singles were not played. Brazdil (Draw A), Jeremy Court (Draw C) and Wong (Draw F)had all advanced to those finals after losing first-round matches on Friday.

Penn will have a short reprieve as next week is a bye week from tournament play. The Quakers return to the court October 7-9 at the Columbia Invitational.
