PHILADELPHIA - The Penn men's tennis team's No. 1 doubles team of seniors Jason Pinsky and Joseph Lokis now ranked No. 57 in the nation according to the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association poll. The duo, which is 6-3 overall in the season, was previously unranked.
Pinsky and Lok earned the ranking after a victory over22nd-ranked Louisville over the weekend. The victory helped Pennearn the doubles point against the Cardinals, but they fell in the overall match.
"Hopefully they can build off this," head coachNik DeVore said of the ranking. "Our team has been very strong in doubles so far this season, winning the doubles point eight out of ten times. We need to pick up our individual play though."
The Quakers are next in action next week when they travel out west to take on St. Mary's, Cal, and San Francisco.
