PHILADELPHIA - The Quakers play their final two home matches on Saturday before heading out west for spring break, when they play host to Villanova and Delaware at the Levy Pavilion with action beginning at 10 a.m.
Penn first takes on the Wildcats at 10 a.m. and follows it up with a match against the Blue Hens at 3 p.m. Villanova hasn't won in 2010, but has faced some stiff competition. In their last two matches, the Wildcats lost to Cleveland State 6-1 and UIC, 5-2. Delaware meanwhile, is 1-0 in the new year with a 4-1 victory over Fairfield.
The Red and Blue are 5-0 this year after sweeping Georgetown 7-0 on Wednesday. The Hoyas played Penn tough, but the Quakers prevailed in each match, including all three doubles. Sophomores Phil Law and Jason Lin continued their perfect run on the year, as Law won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Law also won at No. 1 doubles, while Lin took his match at No. 4 singles 6-3, 6-1, as neither has dropped a set in singles this spring.
The matches are the last before Penn goes out to California for spring break in a week.
