HANOVER, N.H. - The Quakers dropped to 1-3 in the Ivy League with a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Dartmouth on Friday afternoon.
Penn once again failed to capture the doubles point, dropping two of three doubles matches. The No. 1 duo of Mark Milbrandt and Rob Wong lost 8-4, as did the No. 3 team of Jason Magnes and Phil Law, 8-3. The Red and Blue's lone victory came at No. 2, where sophomore Eugen Brazdil and senior Adam Schwartz won 8-7 (4).
In singles, the Quakers captured two of the six singles matches. Schwartz won at No. 3 in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, while sophomore Jason Lin also won his match in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
Penn returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Cambridge to take on Harvard at 2 p.m.
