Men's Tennis Makes it Seven in a Row, downs ODU 5-2

PHILADELEPHIA – In their first home match in 18 days, the University of Pennsylvania men’s tennis team continued its winning ways on Saturday beating Old Dominion 5-2 at Levy Pavilion.

Penn lost the doubles point to the Monarchs despiteJason Pinskyand Joseph Lok winning at the No. 1 position.

However, the Quakers rolled through singles, winning five matches. Pinsky defeated Harel Srugo 6-4, 7-6(5). At No. 2, Mikhail Bekker downed Henrique Cancado 6-1, 7-6(4). Jonathan Boym, Justin Fox and Jimmy Fairbanks also won in singles.

Penn improves to 10-4 overall, while ODU falls to 13-7.

The Quakers travel to Annapolis, Md. on Wednesday, March 22 to take on Navy at 2 p.m.
