Men's Tennis Take A Flight Title At Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - Following excellent play in the first two days at the Princeton Farnsworth Invitational, two different players reached the final of their respective Flight.

Sophomore transfer Eugen Brazdil, took home the A Flight title at the Princeton Farnsworth Invitational. Brazdil, now 4-0 this fall, defeated Ryan Gormley (Penn State) 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 to take home the title.

In the C Flight final, Robert Wong fell to Yale's Daniel Hoffman 6-3,6-2.

Head Coach Nike DeVore was pleased of the effort from each of his remaining players. "I'm proud of the way Robert competed in his first event - which is hopefully a sign of even better things to come for Robert. I was also very impressed with Eugen's poise under pressure."

Next up for Penn Tennis is the USTA Intercollegiate at the National Tennis Center in NYC, and the St. Jo's Invitational. Both tournaments are being held Friday-Sunday September 25-27.
