Men's Tennis Travels to New Haven for ITA Northeast Regionals

PHILADEPLPHIA - The Quakers send seven players to this week's ITA Northeast Regional, held Thursday through Tuesday on the campus of Yale in New Haven, Conn.

Senior Hicham Laalej, juniors Eugen Brazdil, Phil Law and Jason Lin, and freshmen Ivan Turudic, Zach Katz, and Nikola Kocovic all are making the trip to New Haven.

Laalej, Law, Katz and Lin are all entered in the main draw of 128 players while Kocovic and Turudic start in the 32-person qualifying round. Brazdil, meanwhile, will only be competing in doubles.

"All of the players we're sending to Yale are playing with a lot of confidence right now," said head coach Nik DeVore. "If they compete hard, all of them are capable of making a deep run."

Laalej is seeded 14th in the main draw while Law will be seeded anywhere from 17-32. Additionally, Laalej will be competing with Brazdil in doubles action. The freshmen duo of Katz and Turudic, who are 7-0 together this season, will be playing in doubles as well.
