PRINCETON, N.J--The men's track and field team sent nine entries to the IC4A Championships in Princeton, N.J.
Bringing in a third-place finish in the long jump, Kyle Calvo marked 7.34m (24-1) in the event which also met the NCAA qualifying standard.
Also in the field, Anthony Abitante cleared 4.75m in the pole vault. John Carelli marked a distance of 14.52m in the triple jump and Andrew McMillen competed in the shot put but fouled without marking.
On the track, sophomore Joey Brown took 17th in the 100m with a time of 10.88. In the 800m, Bryan Scotland clocked 1:54.05 for a 33rd-place finish.
On Friday, Ian Foley ran a ninth place time (just out of point scoring range) with a time of 31:26.87 in the 10,000m.
In the relays, Penn combined Kevin Benjamin, Joey Brown, Sam Shepherd and Jason Ellis in the 4x100 for a 16th-place finish and a time of 41.99. The 4x400 saw Andrew Anders, Benjamin, Tim Kaijala and Shepherd finish 12th with a time of 3:14.38.
