PHILADELPHIA - After splitting and going in their respective ways in meets at Stage College, Pa. and Annapolis, Md., the University of Pennsylvania's men's indoor track and field team reunites to travel to New Haven, Conn., for the Giegengack Invitational this Friday and Saturday at Yale's Coxe Cage.

Friday's competition will start with field events at 5 p.m., and end with the men's distance medley relay at 8:15 p.m. Saturday's competition will start with field events at 9:30 a.m., and end with the men's 4x400-meter relay at 6:35 p.m. A complete schedule and list of entries can be found here.

Last year at the Giegengack Invitational, then-freshman Tim Carey posted a victory in the 400 meters for the Quakers. Against 16 teams in the distance medley relay, the Quakers placed third. The team of James Finucane, Taylor Neason, Brian Fulton and Luke Grau finished in 10:03.88. It was the best time of the year for the Quakers in the event up to that point in the season.

Last week, three Quakers reached the IC4A's at the Penn State National Invitational on Friday, while two more reached the postseason meet with their efforts at the Wesley Brown Invitational on Saturday. At Penn State, seniors Philip Cawkwell, Luke Grau and James Foreman each reached the IC4A marks with top-five finishes. Sophomore Matt Chylak and freshman Conner Paez qualified for the IC4A's with top-ten performances at Navy.

Complete results from the Giegengack Invitational will be available on shortly after the conclusion of Saturday's events.
