Men's Track Athletes Shine at Stanford Invitational

Palo Alto, Calif. – Three members of the Penn’s men’s track and field team competed at the 31st annual Stanford Track & Field Invitational on Friday and Saturday at Cobb Track & Angell Field. This prestigious event featured thousands of top college and high school athletes in the United States.

Senior Neal Wojdowski finished in a three-way tie for fifth in the top section of the pole vault with a jump of 16’0.75”. Classmate Nolan Tully nabbed the fourth spot in section 2 of the 5,000m run. Tully finished in a time of 14:04.68. Freshman Kyle Calvo placed fifth in the decathlon with a total score of 6,519 points, which ranks 10th on the Penn top-10 performance list.

The Quakers return to action on April 2 at the Maryland Invitational in College Park, Md. and the Cornell Invitational in Ithaca, N.Y.
