Message From Coach Ambrose

Penn and its women's soccer program offer the best of both worlds to those students driven to be their best on and off the playing fields. We strive to offer the highest combination of competitive athletics at a challenging, first-class, historic educational institution.

The goal of our coaching staff is to provide our student-athletes with the best possible collegiate experience in all areas that affect their lives. We believe that personal growth and development can take place in a supportive environment, and that success can be attained in both academic and athletic arenas through commitment and dedication.

Traditions are built on solid foundations, and our relatively young program is in the process of establishing a tradition of excellence.Penn Women's Soccersaw its first Ivy League title come to Philadelphia in 2001, has made two NCAACollegeCupappearances, and captured an ECAC championship. Weenter the 2007 season having had10 consecutive winning seasons. Individuals have been recognized as All-Americans, Ivy League Players of the Year, and been accorded All-Region accolades. Our teams also thrive academically, garnering five NSCAA Team Academic Awards with numerous individuals receiving academic accolades. It is not surprising. It has become expected.

With the dedication ofRhodes Fieldjusta fewyears ago, and the installation of floodlights during the 2005 season, our facilities have become one of the finest around -- another sign of the commitment and dedication to providing our student-athletes with the best possible collegiate experience.

Being situated in the proximity of one of the nation's oldest andmost historic cities, Penn's vibrant campus provides our student-athletes with access to immeasurable cultural, sports and entertainment opportunities.

The combination of our historical, world-renowned University; the commitment to excellence of our soccer program; and the diverse environment of campus life makes Penn a legitimate college option for any student striving to reach their potential in all avenues of their careers.
