Canonsburg, Pa. - Despite a rain-shortened weekend, the Penn men's golf team finished third at the Peter Rossin Memorial Invitational hosted by William & Jefferson College on April 2. The Red and Blue shot a 306 on the day, with Derek Rogers finishing with a team-best 37-37=74.
Sean Barrett was just one stroke behind, finishing tied for seventh with a 37-38=75, while Garrett Wentzell shot a 38-39=77 to finish tied for 18th in the tournament. Dean Merrill and Patrick Cooper also competed for the Quakers, shooting 44-36=80 and 42-40=82, respectively.
The Quakers will next compete at the Princeton Invitational on April 8-9.
