Nighttime Soccer at Penn Debuts Saturday Night

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania men's and women's soccer teams will take part in the first-ever night games at Rhodes Field Saturday night against Ivy League foe Cornell.

The women will take the field first against the Big Red at 5 p.m. The men's team will follow at 7:30 p.m.

The men's team (6-1-0) is ranked 18th in the nation in the most recent National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll, having outscored its opponents 7-0 in the past two games.The women's team (4-2-2) is looking to rebound from a 3-0 loss at Loyola on Wednesday.

Admission to both games is free. The first 150 fans will also receive rally towels courtesyofU.S. Youth Soccer. All fans can also register to win a U.S. Youth Soccer Month Prize Pack.
