No. 61 Men's Tennis Falls to No. 43 Brown, 4-3

Providence, R.I. - The No. 61 University of Pennsylvania men's tennis team fell to No. 43 Brown, 4-3, on Saturday.

The Quakers (16-4) dropped the doubles point to open the match. David Lynn and Mikhail Bekker fell at the No. 1 doubles position, 8-5, and Tas Tobias and Anthony Pu fell at No. 2, 8-5. Brandon O'Gara and Todd Lecher had the Quakers only doubles win in the third slot, 8-6.

In singles action, Lynn fell to No. 88 Adil Shamasdin, 6-1, 7-6(5) at No. 1. Bekker defeated No. 90 Nick Goldberg,4-6, 7-5, 6-4 in the second position and Tobias fell to Eric Thomasat No. 3, 6-1, 6-1. Lecher defeated Rich Moss, 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (6), at No. 4 while Jimmy Fairbanks fell to Phil Charm, 6-2, 6-2, in the fifth position. Joe Lok defeated Sauralh Kohli, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, at No. 6for the Quakers.

Penn is next in action on Friday, April 15 when they host Harvard at 2 p.m.
