PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams hit the road for their final event -- the Total Performance Invitational -- until the New Year. With two weeks to prepare, the Quakers will begin the three-day multi-team meet in host Kenyon College’s James A. Steen Aquatic Center on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Swimming will continue through Dec. 6, with 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. sessions on both Friday and Saturday.
Both the men (1-3) and the women (2-2) look to once against post a strong performance and continue their win streak, as each have taken the title since the TPI first began in 2010. The Red and Blue will be challenged by four men’s and women’s top-25 Division III teams, voted on by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America, along with another DIII and DI program. Penn will race against Carnegie Mellon (M11/W19), DePauw (M13/W14), Johns Hopkins (M5/W4), host Kenyon (M1/W2), Grove City, and Davidson.
Kenyon offers a video stream of the day’s events, which can be found here, and live results can be found on MeetMobile. The app can be downloaded from the Apple or Andoird store. When searching for the event, use TPSC or Kenyon.
In addition, results will be posted on PennAthletics.com at the conclusion of each day.
