PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania will once again air most of its men's basketball schedule on WXPN (88.5 FM), beginning Saturday and Sunday with the Quakers' second and third games at the Black Coaches Association (BCA) Invitational.
In addition, all of the Penn men's basketball games -- even those not airing on WXPN -- can be heard by going to www.PennAthletics.com, starting with Friday's season opener against the University of Texas-El Paso (UTEP). To listen to the games online, go to the Men's Basketball page, click on the link to 2006-07 Schedule and then find the game and click on the audio-streaming icon on the right side of that particular game (in the box that normally lists TV/Radio listings). Please note the audio-streaming icon, looking like a speaker, will be set up on the schedule in the days leading up to the respective games.
For the second year in a row, Brian Seltzer will call the play-by-play while former Quaker player Vince Curran offers analysis.
WXPN will also air two Penn women's basketball games this season, Nov. 16 at Lehigh and Nov. 29 against Delaware.
Pregame for all games will begin 15 minutes before tipoff.
