PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania announced that 11 men's basketball games are scheduled to be televised this season, six on the regional cable channel CN8 and five others that will be available to a nationwide audience.
The five nationally televised contests include two on the ESPN family, two more on the Yankees Entertainment & Sports Network (YES), and one on College Sports Television (CSTV). The YES Network is a regional cable channel available through most cable providers in the New York City area, but it is also available on satellite providers like DirecTV and Dish Network. At this time, CSTV is only available through satellite providers.
CN8, The Comcast Network is available in 12 states and 20 television markets along the nation's Northeast Corridor, stretching from Maine to Virginia. CN8 has studios in the Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston, Delaware, New York and Washington, D.C. areas.
