PHILADELPHIA - Prior to the Penn Football games against Yale (Friday, Oct. 23) and Homecoming against Princeton (Saturday, Nov. 7), Moravian Street will be closed down for a pregame Fan Fest.
The event is free and will feature music, giveaways, an appearance from the Penn Band, and discounts to many of the restuarants on the street, which is located on the 3400 block ofMoravian Street between Walnut and Sansom Streets.
Quaker Fan Fest will take place from 4-7pm on Friday, Oct. 23, and from 10am-Noon on Homecoming (Nov. 7). Follow Penn Athletics social media accounts for more info as each date approaches. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook (@PennAthletics), and snapchat (pennquakers).
"This is an awesome opportunity for our fans to have a full gameday experience," said head coach Ray Priore. "It will make for a great pregame atmosphere for all our alumni, fans and students, and will strengthen our homefield advantage when all that energy and enthusiasm pours into Franklin Field at gametime."
New Deck, Baby Blues andDoc Magrogan's Oyster House will all have pregame specials. Coke Zero and Little Debbie's will have some on-site sampling, and WXPN will provide the music. BillyPenn.com will also be on hand for the festivities.
Fans will be carded and those over 21 will receive a wrist band.
