Penn Athletics Tabs Nelligan For Marketing/Sponsorship

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania (Penn) has named Nelligan Sports Marketing (NSM) the exclusive manager of the University's athletic sponsorships and marketing rights. Penn joins Princeton University and Brown University to become the third Ivy League school NSM represents.

In addition to being responsible for corporate partnerships for Penn’s varsity sports, NSM will also be responsible for the prestigious Penn Relays, which is hosted each year by the University. The Relays were first held in 1895, making the event the longest uninterrupted collegiate track meet in the country. Last year, more than 22,000 participants from around the world competed at the event, ranging in age from high school up to master's divisions. The Penn Relays are also the best-attended annual meet in the United States, as more than 113,000 spectators attended last year’s three-day event.
