Penn Enjoys a Successful Final Day of Terrier Classic


Boston – The University of Pennsylvania men’s track and field team wrapped up the Boston University Terrier Classic with several top-ten finishes this afternoon.

Junior Courtney Jaworski placed second in the 800m with a time of 1:49.98, the third-fastest all-time for Penn. In the 1000m, Scott Sebens posted a 2:27.34 to place third.

In the 200m, Pete Cochran placed fourth in a time of 22.47, while Lawrence Gibson finished fourth in the 400m posting a time of 49.72. Carson Schmiett ran 1:04.75 in the 500m to finish fifth overall. His time was the tenth-fastest in program history.
