Penn Falls to Nevada-Reno 3-0

San Diego, Calif. - The University of Pennsylvania volleyball team fell toNevada-Reno 3-0, in thetheUniversity of San Diego Invitational Tournamenton Saturday.

FreshmanLaura Blackhad 11kills to pace the Quakers (2-4). TheWolf Pack(6-4),won the first game 30-28.Black and junior Michelle Kauffman each had five kills in the game.Nevada-Reno won the second game 30-20 and the third game 30-18.Freshman Linda Zhang had 22 assists for the Red and Blue, and six digs. Sophomore Meredith Damore led the Quakers in digs with nine. Penn had five blocks in the game.

Nevada-Renowas led byjunior Salaia Salave`a, who had14 kills for the Wolf Pacl.

The Quakers are next in action on Saturday, Sept.25 at7:30 p.m againstNortheastern in the Sheraton Penn Invitational at the Palestra.
