Penn Football Adds Danielle Petrangeli to Staff

Philadelphia - The University of Pennsylvania football team is announcing the hiring of Danielle Petrangeli as Assistant Director of Football Operations. Petrangeli will assist with day-to-day management of practices, coordinate travel and accommodations for the team and file and disseminate online questionnaires from prospective Penn student-athletes.

Petrangeli is currently working towards her Bachelor of Science degree in business management at Saint Joseph’s University, where she is expected to complete her undergraduate studies this May.

The Shrewsbury, Pa. native served as a marketing intern for the Florida Panthers during the summer of 2004. During her time with the organization, Petrangeli performed community development efforts with the Panthers Hockey Club, local hospitals and organizations. She also performed media and public relations duties for all summer concerts held at the Home Depot Center, creating and implementing schedules for visiting performers, hockey camps and other charitable functions.

The Red and Blue concluded their season with an 8-2 record overall and a 6-1 mark in the Ivy League. Penn ended the 2004 campaign ranked No. 21 in both the Sports Network and the ESPN/USA Today polls.

The Quakers will look to replace a senior class of that leaves an imprint on the football program with the highest winning percentage at Penn in the modern era (.897) and tie the Penn Class of 2004 with the highest Ivy winning percentage (.929) in the history of the League.
