Coverage kicks off on WFIL 560 AM on Sept. 20, as the 13-time Ivy League champions open their season with cross-town rival Villanova. Brian Seltzer will take over behind the microphone as the play-by-play voice of Penn football with long-time color analyst Hench Murray embarking on his 27th season in the radio booth. Seltzer previously hosted the Halftime Report as well as the pre-game and post-game shows. He also serves as the play-by-play man for the Penn men’s basketball team.
WFIL is also scheduled to broadcast the home games against Dartmouth (Oct. 4), Columbia (Oct. 18) and Harvard (Nov. 15) as well as the road games at Lafayette (Sept. 27) and at Cornell (Nov. 22).
WNTP will cover the Quakers for three straight weeks starting with the trip to New Haven, Conn. against Yale (Oct. 25), then the homecoming game against Brown (Nov. 1) and ending with Penn’s Friday night trip to Princeton (Nov. 7). WNTP will also cover Penn’s game at Georgetown (Oct. 11).
Both WNTP and WFIL provide full coverage of the city of Philadelphia and its surrounding counties. WNTP and WFIL are sister stations owned by Salem Communications.
