PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsyvlvania men's lacrosse game with Maryland, slated for Saturday at 1 p.m. in College Park, Md., will air live on College Sports Television (CSTV).
The 10th-ranked Quakers (10-2) are looking to seal a bid into the 16-team NCAA field with a win over the No. 4 Terrapins (9-4). For the second year in a row, the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships (semifinals and final) will be hosted by Penn and take place at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia.
The Quakers and Terps will be meeting for the sixth time in history, and the third year in a row after a break of more than 70 years in the matchup. Maryland has won every meeting, including a21-6 decision last year in a game that took place at Lincoln Financial.
Penn is playing its first game in nearly two weeks because of final exams at the school. Maryland, meanwhile, competed in the ACC Tournament last weekend, falling in the championship game to No. 1 Virginia, 11-5.
