Penn Pride Pep Rally Kicks Off Busy Weekend at Penn Athletics

Check out all the exciting Penn Athletics events happening this week on campus.

Thursday - Kickoff Rally at the Penn Bookstore
Show your Penn Pride this Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at a Rally to kickoff the 2008 Penn Football season.Spin the prize wheel to win prizes as well asdiscounts on Penn apparel at the Penn Bookstore.

Friday - Penn Pride Fridays begin!
Friday will be the first Penn Pride Friday, a chance for you to show your school spirit and get ready for the Quakers' first home game of the season against Villanova at 3:30 p.m. the next day. Wear your your Penn gear all day long, and if you are spotted by Coach Lake in his Helmet Car between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., you will be given a prize.

Penn Pride Fridays will take place the day before each home football game this season. So remember to show your school spiritby wearing your Penn gear and cheering the Quakers on to victory.

Friday - Men's Soccer
Come cheer on the Quakers in their first home game of the season against Buffalo as part of the Penn Soccer Classic.Game time is 7:30 p.m. at Rhodes Field and admission is free.

Saturday - Football
Show your Red & Blue Pride in the student section at Franklin Field and cheer on the football team as they take on the Villanova Wildcats.Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. and students receive free admission with their Penn Card at the Southwest entrance.

Sunday - Men's Soccer
Head down to Rhodes Field for a free Penn hat!Men's soccer takes on Mercer at 1 p.m., and the first 100 fans in the gate receive a free Penn baseball hat!Admission is free and gates open at noon.

Sunday - Women's Volleyball
Volleyball takes on Seton Hall at The Palestra at 5 p.m. Admission is free.
