PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - A Philadelphiastaple, the Penn Relay Carnival is one of the oldest and longest-running track& field events in the world. The 2009 running marks the 115thyear of the Relays, whichwill take place April 23-25 at historic Franklin Field.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by clicking here or by calling the Penn Relays' 24-hour hotline (1-888-PENN-TIX).
Thursday competition begins at 10 a.m. andwill include events for High School Girls, College Women, and Distances races. On Friday, events include High School Boys and Girls, College Men and Women, and Olympic Development. Friday events start at 9 a.m. and go until 7 p.m.Saturday events start at 9 a.m. and include College Men and Women, High School Boys, and USA vs. The World. Saturday events conclude at 6 p.m.
Due to construction on the North side of Franklin Field, only reserved seats are available for purchase on the North side of the stadium.
