Penn to Provide Student Bus For NCAA Tournament

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania Athletic Department has organized a bus trip for students looking to cheer on the Penn women’s basketball team in the NCAA Tournament in College Park, Md. The 10th-seeded Quakers are set to take on seventh-seeded Washington at the Xfinity Center on the campus of the University of Maryland at 4 p.m.

Student tickets to the game are free of charge by visiting the Penn Ticket Office at Franklin Field and presenting your Penn ID. The student bus will be $5, and can also be procured by visiting the ticket office this week.

The bus will leave from Weightman Hall at noon on Saturday, and is set to arrive in College Park between 3:00 and 3:30 pm. (Post-game pick-up location to be determined). Space is limited and reservations will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Fans are also encouraged to come out and cheer on the Quakers, as they make their own bus trip to College Park on Thursday. The 2016 Ivy League Champions will be departing outside of The Palestra Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m.
