HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. - University of Pennsylvania junior Amay Poria was the individual medalist at Saturday's City Six Shootout, beating 29 other golfers with an even-par 70 at Huntingdon Valley Country Club. The event closed out the fall portion of Penn's 2016-17 schedule.
As a team, Penn finished fourth out of six teams with 300. Temple and Villanova both shot 295 to finish at the top of the standings, and then the Owls won the team title by finishing a playoff hole at 1-under-par while the Wildcats were 1-over par. Drexel was third (297), followed by the Quakers. Saint Joseph's (302) and La Salle (312) rounded out the city event.
