PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania track and field teams will be well represented at two upcoming USA Track & Field events set to take place in Sacramento, Calif. June 22-25.
Sean Clarke, Maddie Villalba, Mikayla Schneider, Nia Akins, and Tia Livingston will all represent the Red and Blue at the USATF Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships, while Chris Hatler and 2016 graduate Sam Mattis will compete in the USATF Outdoor Championships.
Competition for junior competitors begins on Friday while Hatler and Mattis kick off senior competition on Thursday. The top two finishers in each event in the junior meet will represent Team USA at the Pan American Games in Lima, Peru, while senior competitors are looking to gain a spot for the IAAF World Championships which will take place in London later this summer.
