Quakers, Crimson Tie in Women's Soccer, 0-0

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Despite outshooting its opponent 12-6, the Penn women's soccer team was unable to come up with a goal and drew with Harvard, 0-0, Saturday afternoon at the Crimson's Ohiri Field.

The Quakes (4-1-2) forced Harvard goalkeeper Katie Shields to make seven saves, including one in each of the two overtime sessions. By contrast, Penn goalie Jessica Keeley was called upon only once Saturday afternoon in garnering her third shutout in the last four matches. In fact, Keeley has allowed just one goal during her last 450 minutes of play and boasts a goals-against average of 0.62 for the season.

Penn had seven corner kicks to one for Harvard (5-2-1), and got two shots on goal apiece from Carolyn Cross and Tracy Bienenfeld.

The Quakers are next in action Wednesday, taking on Loyola (Md.) in Baltimore. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m.
