Rhoads, Wilson Honored at Big 5 Banquet

PHILADELPHIA - Junior guard Joey Rhoads was named second-team All-Big 5 at the league's banquet on Wednesday evening at the Hyatt Regency Philadelphia at Penn's Landing.

Senior forward Rachel Wilson was named to the All-Academic Big 5 squad.

Rhoads led the Quakers with 13.7 points per game and 91 assists, while ranking 13th in the nation witha free throw percentage of 87.6.

Wilson, an English and Africana studies major from Washington, D.C., was third on the team with 84 rebounds while maintaining a 3.70 grade-point average.

Temple's Candice Dupree won the Big 5 Player of the Year Award for the second straight season, while Owls' head coach garnered Coachof the Yearhonors after leadingTemple to an undefeated4-0 record inBig 5 play.
