Roth Named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - A day after being named Philadelphia 5 Baseball Pitcher of the Week, freshman Todd Roth received another weekly award as he was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week. Roth pitched 8.1 scoreless innings last week.

Roth fired 8.1 scoreless innings and allowed seven hits for the week lowered his ERA to 1.86 for the season. The rookie right-hander earned his first collegiate win at Georgetown on Sunday after throwing a complete-game shutout. Roth retired 26 of 28 batters to improve to 1-1 on the season. He has fanned 18 batters in 19.1 innings.
