PHILADELPHIA - Former Bucknell assistant Dan Schupsky was recently named to head swimming and diving coach Michael Schnur's coaching staff.

Schupsky joins Penn after spending the past three years as a member of the Bison staff, and will primarily coach breaststroke and the individual medley.

At Bucknell, he was the assistant coach for both the men's and women's programs. For the Bison, Schupsky coached all groups, coordinated men's recruiting visits, organized travel and equipment, community service, and facilitated team building. Additionally, the team set 27 school records during his tenure in Lewisburg.

Prior to Bucknell, Schupsky was a graduate assistant and assistant coach for The College of New Jersey (TCNY) from 2005 to 2007. While with the Lions, he oversaw multiple All-America honorees and an individual national champion in the Breaststroke.

An alum of TCNJ, his tally of seventeen All-America awards and two Academic All-America citations rank him as one of the most accomplished student athletes in Lions history.

The Quakers open up their season on November 13, when they host Columbia at Pottruck.
