The Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking sponsors for PennKids day camp in summer 2005.

Sponsor a camper this summer! PennKids is a recreational day camp for children in grades 1-6 run by Penn's Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics. Scholarships are available to students in the Penn Assisted Schools. $300 sponsors a camper for a week. Scholarships include a week full of games, sports, cultural and educational activities on Penn's campus. Each week also includes daily swimming, hot lunch, and a field trip or special event. PennKids Summer Camp
The Division of Recreation and Intercollegiate Athletics will sponsor the third year of the PennKids Summer Camp. This summer features a new programming schedule, the addition of 7th graders, a hot lunch option, and a reduced fee! PennKids is a recreational day camp that features weekly themes, daily swimming, climbing, arts n crafts, sports and games, and a weekly field trip or special event. The camp consists of six one week sessions from June 20 - July 29. A full day runs Monday through Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm. Each session is $200. Before and after care is available for an additional fee. New for 2005 - a hot lunch option! Campers may register for hot lunch each week for only $25. Registration has begun at the Pottruck Health and Fitness Center (3701 Walnut Street).
If you would like more information on PennKids, there will be an information session for parents and guardians February 22 at 5:30pm or March 9 at 12 noon at the Pottruck Center Conference Room.
