Soccer Matches Moved to Penn Park This Weekend

Directions to Penn Park

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania men’s and women’s soccer teams will kick off their 2013 seasons this weekend. However, with Rhodes Field still in the final stages of renovation, this weekend’s games have been moved to the Dunning-Cohen Champions Field at Penn Park.

The action starts Friday night, when the women host Saint Peter’s College at 7 p.m. followed by the men against Stony Brook at 9 p.m. On Sunday, the women entertain Mount St. Mary’s at noon, followed by the men against Sacred Heart at 2:30 p.m.

In addition to the directions linked above, fans can access Penn Park from the same parking lot that they would use for Rhodes Field, via River Fields Drive. They would merely walk North, over the foot-traffic-only Weave Bridge, instead of South to Rhodes Field.

Despite the change in venue, all four matches will have live video this weekend. Click here to sign up for the Penn Sports Network, now a part of the Ivy League Digital Network!
