PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania softball team (30-18, 16-4 Ivy) is still riding the excitement of last weekend’s Ivy League Championship Series victory over Dartmouth. With the 2-1 series victory, the Quakers won their second Ivy title in program history – the first came in 1981 – and clinched their first trip to the NCAA regionals.

Every season, a group of Division I softball programs huddle together to watch the NCAA selection show, and this season the Red and Blue will be part of that group. The show will air live on ESPNU – it will also be available on the WatchESPN app for those who subscribe – beginning at 10 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 12.

Make sure to check immediately following the selection show for information on Penn’s upcoming schedule, including when and where they will be playing for the NCAA regionals. Additionally, make sure to follow @UPennSoftball during the Quakers’ road to the Women’s College World Series.
