Kissimmee, Fla. The University of Pennsylvania had its three-game winning streak snapped falling to Wagner, 12-2, in five innings this evening at the Rebel Spring Games.
The Red and Blue (4-5) took a quick 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Sophomore Kaelin Ainley lead off with a walk and came around to score on a fielder’s choice by freshman Christina Khosravi. Freshman Annie Kinsey tallied Penn’s second run of the game crossing the plate after a ground out by Brandi King. Wagner responded in the top of the second inning plating eight runs on five hits. The Sea Hawks added four more in the top of the third.
The Quakers return home to the Warren Field on March 16 for a doubleheader with Delaware at 2:00 p.m.
