PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania softball team will hold its inaugural “Dinner on the Diamond” in conjunction with its Alumnae Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Penn Park.

“We are really excited to roll out our inaugural 'Dinner on the Diamond’ event on Sept. 19th,” said head coach Leslie King. “We added the Dinner to our annual Alumnae Game and Parent/Daughter Game. Both of those events have been growing steadily, and we are hoping the Dinner brings even more friends and family out to Penn Park!”

The “Dinner on the Diamond” will cap off a full day of events at Penn Park, beginning with a parent/daughter softball game at 4 p.m. The Penn alumnae will then get in on the action, donning the Red and Blue to face off against the current crop of Quakers at 5 p.m.

Following the softball action, there will be a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and then the actual “Dinner on the Diamond” at 7 p.m.
