Softball's Spring Invitational Schedule Revised for the Weekend

PHILADELPHIA - Due to the threat of rain in this weekend's forecast, the schedule for softball's Spring Invitational has been altered. What was originally scheduled to be a two-day tournament will now be spread out over three days. All four teams will now play one game Friday, two games Saturday and a final game on Sunday.

The Quakers will now open up the tournament Friday night against Villanova at 4 p.m. On Saturday, Penn will sit out the first game before hosting Rider at 11:15 a.m. Following that game, the hosts will play Army in a scheduled 1:30 p.m. start. On Sunday, the two finals matchups will be played. The third and fourth place teams will play at noon with the first and second place teams playing for the championship at 2:15 p.m.

Friday March 23:
Penn vs. Villanova (4 p.m.)
Army vs. Rider (6:15 p.m.)

Saturday March 24:
Villanova vs. Army (9 a.m.)
Penn vs. Rider (11:15 a.m.)
Penn vs. Army (1:30 p.m.)
Rider vs. Villanova (3:45 p.m.)

Sunday March 25:
3 vs. 4 (Noon)
1 vs. 2 (2:15 p.m.)
