Stephen Baker Earns More National Honors

Soccer America All-Freshman Teams All-Freshman Teams

PHILADLEPHIA - The honors and recognition continue to pour in for Penn forward Stephen Baker. At the end of December, the freshman striker was named to the 2010 Soccer America All-Freshman second team and to's All-Freshman third team. Those all-rookie honors are added to the second-team All-Rookie selection he earned from in November.

Penn's leading scorer with eight goals and two assists for 18 points, Baker also paced Ivy League rookies in scoring with Ancient Eight-highs in points and goals. He was named second-team All-Ivy by the League's coaches at the conclusion of the season.

Baker, a third-team All-Region selection by the NSCAA, was the only Ivy League freshman honored by Soccer America and was one of two Ancient Eight rookies named to's all-freshmen teams, joining Ivy Rookie of the Year Henning Sauerbier of Columbia.
