Student Appreciation Day Set for Nov. 9

PHILADELPHIA - November 9 is shaping up to be one of the busiest dates in Penn Athletics history, and as a "Thank You" to the student members of Quaker Nation, Penn Athletics is proud to announce Student Appreciation Day.

As part of Homecoming Weekend, Penn Athletics is offering students the chance to support the Red and Blue throughout the day with one all-encompassing ticket package.

Admission to the football game against Princeton at noon is still free for all students with a Penn Card, but in addition students can purchase the Student Appreciation Package for $10 which includes the following:

Entrance to the Homecoming Barbeque in the East end zone area of Franklin Field starting at the completion of the third quarter. Food and beverage inside the Homecoming Barbeque. All entrants 21 years of age and older will receive coupons for two alcoholic beverages inside the Homecoming Barbeque. A Nike Dri-Fit "Quaker Nation" shirt. A Red and Blue Crew section ticket for the men's basketball season opener against Temple scheduled for a 5 p.m. tip-off. The opportunity to stay after the men's basketball game for a special performance by Philadelpha comedic legend Bill Cosby.
