PHILADELPHIA – Now that the calendar has turned, the University of Pennsylvania men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are ready to get back into the pool and pick up where they started. The Quakers head to Hanover, N.H. on Saturday for their second Ivy tri-meet of the season against Dartmouth and Yale. The meet will take place in the Karl Michael & Spaulding Pool and is set to begin at 10 a.m.
Over the holidays, the Red and Blue traveled to Florida for their winter training but are now back in Philadelphia and readying for the Ivy rivals.
Last year’s meet between the three teams in New Haven, Conn. resulted in a split for Penn, as both the men and women defeated Dartmouth but fell to Yale.
Against other Ivy opponents so far, Dartmouth’s men and women have two losses to Cornell and Harvard, while Yale’s men and women have two wins against Columbia and Cornell.
For the Quakers, the men enter the tri-meet looking for their first win against an Ancient Eight opponent. The women will be looking to add their second, after defeating Columbia earlier this season.
