The Line is now forming at the Pottruck Center. Bring your credit card and PennCard and head to the Sansom Street entrance of the Pottruck Center (Sansom Street between 37th and 38th Streets). The Phillies game and the debate will be on TV at the Pottruck Center as well! At this time, you can get your spot in “The Line” for this Friday’s event, which is the first step in obtaining a lower level event. At this event, you will create your Quaker E-Pass and pay for your tickets. Your PennCard and credit card are required to purchase tickets.
Bracelet distribution ends at 11 p.m. and is limited to the first 500 people who attend. If you do not get a bracelet tonight, you will be not be allowed to purchase tickets in the lower level Red & Blue Crew sections.

This year's edition of "The Line" will begin on Friday, Oct. 17 and end on Saturday, Oct. 18. This year, "The Line" will debut the revamped Red & Blue Crew featuring special perks, free and discounted food, a t-shirt, and exclusive giveaways.
Penn Athletics is instituting a new student ticketing policy for the 2008-09 men’s basketball season.In men’s basketball, the student sections are being moved to the end court on the western side of The Palestra. The section will be split into twogeneral admissionareas, a lower level (sections 119, 120, 121) sections and an upper level (sections 219, 220, 221).
The Red & Blue Crew will be located in the lower level sections and admittance will be confined to the first 500 students who participate in “The Line” activities. Tickets in this section are $75. These students will also receive the following benefits:
-Exclusive giveaway items, including: Foam noodles, mini-hoop sets, megaphone, fan banner, and foam Quaker hat
-Red & Blue Crew t-shirt
-$1 hot dogs from one (1) hour before tip to 15 minutes before tip, when you are wearing your Red & Blue Crew t-shirt
-Free Qdoba taco to the first 50 students in the section at each game
-Automatic enrollment in theRed & Blue Rewards program
-Opportunityto win access to “Class of 71” hospitality area
-Raffles to win items and experiences suchas: team gear, autographed items, lunch with Coach Miller and the team, free tickets to away games including Princeton, sitting behind the team bench, watching closed team practices, playing a pick-up game at The Palestra, as well as a few surprise perks.
Students can still purchase season tickets if they do not attend The Line. These seats will be located in the upper level student seating sections. Tickets in these sections are $75 and can be purchasedstarting Monday, October 20that 10 a.m. at the Penn Athletics Ticket Office.
In order to sit in the Red & Blue Crew lower level sections, students must participate in the “The Line Announcement” and “The Line.”
“The Line” will occur on October 17-18 at The Palestra. Only those students who attend the announcement event and “The Line” will be eligible to purchase tickets in the Red & Blue Crew lower level section. The event will be closed to only “The Line Announcement” attendees. Below is a tentative schedule of events for The Line:
Friday, October 17
-6:00 7:00 p.m. The Palestra opens for check-in. Doors close at 7 p.m.
-7:30 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Men’s Basketball team scrimmage
-8:15 p.m. Pep Rally with men’s and women’s basketball team; event will include teams, band, cheerleaders, Quaker Girls Dance Team, contests with players, and a burrito eating contest.
-9:15 p.m. Food made available for all “The Line” attendees
-10 p.m. Annual dodgeball tournament
-11:15 Lights Out
