Three Grapplers Capture Titles at Wilkes Open

Senior Doug McGraw, freshman Chris Banket and Matt Eveleth, wrestling unattached, each took home crowns at the Wilkes Open on Dec. 28. No team scores were kept at the event.

McGraw, wrestling in his first event of the season, defeated Bloomsburg's Brian Hart, 4-0 to capture the 141 title. At 157, Banket earned his first tournament title with an exciting 3-2 victory over Matt Roncolato of Pitt-Johnstown. At 133, Eveleth recorded a 3-1 victory over Patrick Flynn ofNassau Community College tocapture the crown.
