Three Quakers Named NFCA All-Region

PHILADELPHIA – After earning All-Ivy recognition last week, Christina Khosravi, Annie Kinsey and Stephanie Reichert were all named Louisville Slugger/NFCA Division I Mid-Atlantic Region Second-Team on Wednesday. Chosen by NFCA member coaches from each region, the honorees will now be eligible for selection to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-America first, second or third teams.

Last Thursday, Khosravi was named Ivy League Player of the Year after hitting .407 on the season with a .607 slugging percentage and a .465 on-base percentage. She also tied the single-season school records with 57 hits and five home runs.

Kinsey earned her second first-team All-Ivy selection in as many years. She hit .393 in her sophomore season, which was third best in the Ancient Eight. Kinsey finished the season second in the league in total bases(83) and slugging percentage (.572). She also tied with Khosravi for the Penn single-seasontotal for hits(57) and home runs (5).

Reichert hit .346 on the season and finished second in the Ivy League in doubles (13), third in total bases (82) and fifth in runs scored (30). She set single-season Penn records for runs scoredand doubles. The junior was named second-team All-Ivy last week.
