Todd Busler Named CSFL Offensive Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA - After a three-touchdown game against Post last weekend, Todd Busler was named the CSFL Offensive Player of the Week.

For Busler, the honor is the third in his career. He was twice named Offensive Player of the Week in 2009 en route to first-team All-CSFL distinction.

Against Post, Busler threw for 210 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His TDs were not cheapies, as he went connected for 82-yard and 50-yard scores. Both of those strikes came in the waning moments of the first half, extending Penn's lead to 28-0 before the break. Busler was busy in the opening half, getting things started for Penn with a six-yard scamper for the game's first score.

Busler and the Quakers are back in action on Saturday against Navy in the Adirondack Trust Allegiance Bowl at 1 p.m.
