Track and Field Has Four Compete at ECAC/IC4A's

BOSTON, Mass. – The University of Pennsylvania track and field teams sent four student-athletes to compete in the ECAC/IC4A Championships last weekend at Boston University. Imani Solan, Elias Graca, Calvary Rogers, and Jeff Wiseman all put forth solid efforts in their final indoor meet of the season.

Solan’s performance in the 200 meters served as the highlight of the weekend, as she broke her own school record with a time of 23.97. She placed third in the race, and received All-East honors.

Graca and Wiseman also notched All-East accolades, as they each placed fourth in their respective events. Elias clocked a personal-best mark of 1:50.16 in the 800 meters, while Wiseman recorded a season-best 1:02.80 in the 500. Graca’s time ranks fifth on Penn’s all-time list.

Rogers wrapped up the weekend for the Red and Blue, placing ninth in the 200 meters. The freshman darted to a time of 21.63, which was just 0.05 off a personal low.
