Outdoor Performance List

PHILADELPHIA – One week before hosting their first home meet of the season, the University of Pennsylvania men's track and field team will head to the Navy Invite in Annapolis, Md., on Saturday in a four-team meet.

The one-day invite starts at 10 a.m. with the hammer throw, followed by the long jump and pole vault at 11:30 a.m. The track events start at noon with the steeplechase. The last race of the day is the 1,600-meter relay which is slated to begin at 1:55 p.m.

It will be a scored meet in which individual events are scored at 9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1, and relay events at 9-7-6-5. The top nine performers advance to field event finals.

In addition to Navy and Penn, American and Colgate will also be at the meet at Ingram Field. In an indoor event at Navy earlier this season, the Quakers finished second, beating out both Navy and American in the process.

Penn, which hosts the Penn Invite on April 4, had fourteen top-10 finishes in its only outdoor meet of the season at Wake Forest last weekend. This included senior Max Westman's IC4A qualifying time in the 110-meter hurdles.

Complete results from the Navy Invitational will be available on PennAthletics.com shortly after its conclusion.
