Complete Ivy Release

PHILADELPHIA - Senior Megan Tryon was named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week in helping the Quakers to a 2-0 weekend, with victories over Dartmouth and Harvard.

The team's primary setter, Tryon made plays all over the court against the Big Green on Friday, finishing the match with 53 assists, 11 digs, two blocks, and a career-high tying six kills. A night later against Harvard she was equally impressive, serving the first 13 points of the second set as the Quakers rolled to 25-12 win on their way to a dominating three-set victory. Against the Crimson she dished out 35 assists while tallying 11 digs and two kills.

For the season, Tryon leads the league with 10.38 assists per set and is also averaging 2.27 digs per set. It is the second straight week a Quaker has been honored by the Ivy League, following sophomore Amanda Pacheco's selection last week. It is also the second career Player of the Week honor for Tryon, who was a first-team All-Ivy selection last season.

The Red and Blue look to run its winning streak to five matches when the team travels to Ithaca for a bout with Cornell, Friday evening at 7 p.m.
